Call for Workshops and Tutorials

2nd International Joint Conference on Conceptual Knowledge Structures (CONCEPTS 2025)

Cluj-Napoca, România- September, 8th-12th, 2025

As part of the CONCEPTS 2025 conference, we invite proposals for workshops and tutorials that complement and enhance the main conference program by providing opportunities for in-depth exploration of current research topics, emerging methodologies, and applied innovations within the fields of Conceptual Structures, Knowledge Representation, and related areas.

The workshops and tutorials will be held on September 8, 2025, the day preceding the main conference.

We welcome proposals for:

  • Workshops, which may include paper presentations, discussions, and hands-on sessions on focused research topics or interdisciplinary themes.
  • Tutorials, which should provide comprehensive and practical introductions to tools, frameworks, or theories relevant to the CONCEPTS community.

Submission Guidelines

Proposals should be submitted in PDF format and must include:

  • Title of the workshop or tutorial
  • Names and affiliations of organizers or presenters
  • A brief description (up to 1000 words) including goals, target audience, relevance to CONCEPTS 2025, and intended outcomes
  • Format (e.g., half-day or full-day, lecture, interactive, hands-on)
  • Previous editions (if applicable) and expected number of participants
  • Special requirements (technical needs, software, etc.)
